I know back in the 70's when there were zilch clones at all unless you had the zorts to spring for an EIS or Bill Beer chop or get a Porta B which were also hard to find, Crumar was on my list for a portable Hammond for a band I worked with that wanted to travel lighter. I never found one. And because it was the only really portable thing out there rumored to do the job did I search for one. It is remarkable that the name surfaced again to join modern times.

I know the Crumar brand has an iffy reputation, but I do recall back in the mid-seventies when I was desperate for an eletric piano that a Crumar Roadrunner came to my rescue. As I saved up some money I was able to buy a Rhodes, but the little Crumar saved me and when the time came to part with it didn't owe me a thing.
