Subject:Re: [SPAM][CWSG] How to get good sound through an amp with Nord Electro 2 (61 key) ???
The type of cabinets are irrelevant. The issue is the sound fills up
the room and reflects off of everything, just like anything that makes
noise does. BUT for some weird reason, the leslie sim on the C1 and
Electro thin out and lose its animation character when both channels
are engaged be it stereo or summed mono. By isolating one channel,
the leslie sim cuts thru and sounds much more authentic. I've watched
so many videos of people playing at gigs with their electro or C1
live, and it just sounds bad every time. On occasion, I'll hear a
performance when someone runs one single channel into their amp or
house mix, and it shines thru quite well.
Even if you use the Bose L-series monitor (who can really afford one
of those?) there is still some odd phase issues with the leslie sim.
