No problem Gary. Just a little (very little) humor. After all the
recent debates I thought we could "lighten up." Even though I know 100
times more about Lowery than Hammond, I bet most of the functioning
units are either in a nursing home, or belong to someone who is in a
nursing home..
I am the rare exception. My huge beast has that slide switch, a "wow-
wow" that operates from the volume pedal, and a period correct rythum
maker bolted on, an awful piano stop, and the most beautiful reeds and
tibias. I learned how to play on it from the time it was new. But
similar models on Ebay can't even get $100.
I never understood why people preferred the hammond over this. But when
I got the VK88 and joined this group, I began to see the light...
