Subject:Re: Found: A Tonewheel Hammond
61 note manuals, full bass

The Leslie switch is a double, mounted under the rail, on the right hand side. The owner hedged when I asked for a price and I backed away fast! Now I'm trying to get an idea of what to offer. I'm sure it's gonna be a "make me an offer" situation. My experience is only with four leged beasts, A's, B's and the like, so home models are a mystery to me. It's a cosmetic "8-9" and seems to be in perfect working condition, except for that single, bean shaped switch. I had to wiggle it the second time to have it make contact. I believe that type switch was first used on circa 1960's models. Does anyone have an idea what it's worth?
