Subject:Leslie 2101/2121 Modification - Additional 1/4 Inputs

I wanted to connect my yamaha motif to my 2101 via the left/right
stationary channels of the 2101 and have that signal feed to the lower
unit via the line-outs. The reason for this is it freed up the 1
additional channel on the lower unit (which was not stereo). I
purchased 2 1/4 phone jack - closed circuit panel mount - from Radio
Shack (part number 274-255). I mounted these on the back panel of the
upper unit and routed pins 2 & 3 (red and orange if I remember) of the
11-pin leslie connector thru these new plugs. Now when I connect a 1/4
cable from my other keyboard, the 11-pin connection for the stationary
channel is disconnected and the other keyboard feeds the stationary
amps.

Now I use the 1 free input channel (which allows a microphone to be
connected) on the lower unit to Mic-the-upper-horn resulting in just 1
feed thru the line-out for both keyboards.
