Subject:Speaker Placement for Rotary Simulation

I'd like to run this subject again by those using paired amps/cabs for
their rotary sim sound. Logically it seems (at first) that ± 10 o'clock
and 2 o'clock speaker placement on either side would recreate a rotary
sound envelope best. But I recall awhile back, there were a couple of
members reversing this and placing speakers at ± 2 o'clock and 10
o'clock - in effect, crossing the sound fields to get their "best"
rotary sound. This makes a certain amount of sense, kind of like the
real Leslie rotors both projecting sound out directly from the louvers
and/or open back plus bouncing it off the sides of the cabinet
internally to reflect it outwards indirectly. Any members or some of
our sound engineering and physics guys want to give this a shot?

I'm not giving up my Pro-145, but I have a second ep/organ module
(NE2R) with rotary sim that I do more effects stuff with, going to my
stationary amps/cabs which are usually set anywhere from 3-5 feet
either side of me depending on onstage room. Any fresh opinions and
insights on this subject will be appreciated. TIA ~ Walter j
