Thanks for the suggestions.
The BBE and Speakeasy sound like valid suggestions, but I'm afraid
that the only solution is a real leslie. Which doesn't fit into my
car and in my apartment.
With some more tweaking I got a sound (I like a straight braked
leslie jazz tone) very similar to what I'm hearing in recordings. The
sound is good, but it doesn't feel like having a leslie in the room.
