The dealers are thinking there's enough interest that they'll get the price
they want. And y'know, I bet they're right. George has the right idea,
starting at $9.99 and no reserve -- generates a lot of interest and bids. That's the
same strategy I've used in the past, and I've never been disappointed with
the outcome. There's another with a starting bid of $1,900 which the last time I
looked hadn't received one bid. But that one will probably see some action
too. It's funny, I went into the Sam Ash in White Plains, NY yesterday and
asked about the XK3. I was told they have no plans to get one onto the floor, and
no plans to stock them. "We can order one for you, if you want. There's not
enough volume there for us to bring one in without a buyer". Yeah, great, I can
order one myself thank you very much. Meanwhile things are hoppin' on ebay.
