My reaction to the portable is pretty simple. If I want that bulk/weight and
more authentic feel/sound, I'd buy a chop. Can probably get one with lotsa
cool features for less than a new B3P.

I'm just not ready to haul that kinda weight up/down three flights of stairs
to my place. If I had a dedicated wagon/SUV that was locked & loaded, might
treat the idea differently. Even then, some of these gigs have dreadful
access.

That's just me, happy City Guy.
