Subject:CX-3 boot/output/software problem

My Korg CX-3 (2002) has developed a problem booting up.

Occasionally, the output is weak and very distorted, although the
display screen comes up and everything responds to editing,
etc.

I've just re-booted (sometimes more than once) and it always
comes up fine after that.

I'm not sure whether this problem occurs in the software stage,
or in the output stage of the setup. Is the latest firmware update
supposed to fix this, or is this something non-computer related
and should I take it to a traditional keyboard repair person?

Is there anyone out there who has experienced this?
