Subject:Re: Boston Foreplay
I think someone mentioned in a previous post that it was an RT3. ie a C3 in an elongated C3-style cabinet (to accommodate a 32 note pedalboard). Bits and pieces have been moved probably to make the chop more slimline. I think I'd prefer everything in it's stock position. Can't imagine why anyone would need to stagger console keyboards ...... OH .... hang on.... LH chords would be much easier with 888000000 or similar settings. No uncomfortable wrist contortions neccessary. This is a REALLY good idea.

- Given the detail at the bottom left and right hand corners of the
cabinet, it looks like it used to be a B-3, but it has been widened
to allow the manuals to be offset
- The pedal drawbars have been pushed to the far left
- The stepped front of the B- cabinet has been cut off diagonally
- The percussion tabs have been moved to a new RH LM cheek block
- The vibrato tabs and loud/soft tab have been moved to the UM LH
cheekblock
- There is a big brown wheel next to the UM preset keys on the
cheekblock
- There is an orange strip stretching for 5 octaves above the UM
Possible explanation:
- The organ has MIDI send and Tom wanted to get closer to the range
of a piano with the keyboards
