The acoustical properties of *any* stadium are bad. The properties of a domed stadium are worse. People lived with the results twenty years ago, but the expectations of listeners have increased. I would expect that every halftime show is pre-recorded, even if the players are capable of pulling it off live. Sometimes, even the VOCALS are pre-recorded, if the lead singer is going to do some gymnastics in the performance. So, given that situation, an AC cord is just something more to trip over. All pain, no gain, right?
