Subject:Re: WHO USES THERE CLONES TO PLAY AT CHURCH
Hi, I'm Drew
I use a Emu B3 module and a MS KRB-M.
At church we play rock and contemporary music. We have drums,
percussion (conga's), bass, me on synths, electric guitar, bass, tenor
sax, trumpet, trombone, and about 6 vocalists.
When I'm doing the Hammond thing (which I love, by the way - and if I
could afford it I would have a B3 and a Leslie - expect to within a
year, anyway) I use:
888 000 000 usually. Sounds great with fast Leslie around middle "C".
Also use this with 3rd percussion for funk and some rock
880 080 008 thin sound
800 000 008 thin sound
888 888 888 rocks out - I also use this when doing those little
circular blusey things behind the pastor
Really, you should experiment with different sounds. For example: 888
000 008 (a "whistle" stop) works well in some gospel music.
