You really struck a nerve with me regarding everyone giving the keyboard
player advice, so it is not just you. I experience the same thing, with the
other members of the band giving me advice on my sounds. I don't think I
have ever told the guitar player what amp to buy or what guitar to play. If
someone could enlighten me on the reasoning behind other musicians giving
advice to the keyboard player, then I would really appreciate it. I am not
saying that I have a perfect sound, and I don't mind some input on
improving my sound, keyboard players seem to get more advice than any other
member of the band.

Daniel,
Hello again :-)
Sorry to hear about the h/w not delivering.
I was just sorta wondering ...
Do you have the luxury of a *dedicated* computer??
Maybe you already tried that, but I know from experience it has a
real effect on reliability.

What? Band says:"Get over it"??
One of the things that always pissed me about bands I've been in is that
they (at least in my case) have a tendency to offer advice to the keyboard
player. No one tells a drummer which sticks to use! No one tells a
guitarist which stompbox to buy but they all seem to wanna offer advice on
which organ or what strings ..... I just nod and smile and do what I feel
like.
