I think you hit the nail on the head with your comments. I know I can do
without the 3D effect. You would not hear that at a Jimmy Smith concert
anyway. And your comment about his leaving the drawbars alone is well put
also. If any synthesizer out there had decent sounds that included just 2 or
3 presets that nailed the sound I am after, I would be happy. Based on that
I am leaning towards the E-mu product, but must admit to not having heard
any of the better clones yet.

Also the comment on Jimmy Smith goes to the fact ones time is well spent
actually practicing technique. He sounds better on any clone than most folks
sound on a real Hammond.
